That is an astonishing statement and yet proven a thousand times every day of our lives. It expresses, in part, our inescapable connection with the outside world, the fact that we touch other peoples lives simply by existing. But how much more are you, Harvard graduates of 2008, likely to touch other peoples lives? Your intelligence, your capacity for hard work, the education you have earned and received, give you unique status, and unique responsibilities. Even your nationality sets you apart. The great majority of you belong to the worlds only remaining superpower. The way you vote, the way you live, the way you protest, the pressure you bring to bear on your government, has an impact way beyond your borders. That is your privilege, and your burden. If you choose to use your status and influence to raise your voice on behalf of those who have no voice; if you choose to identify not only with the powerful, but with the powerless; if you retain the ability to imagine yourself into the lives of those who do not have your advantages, then it will not only be your proud families who celebrate your existence, but thousands and millions of people whose reality you have helped to change. We do not need magic to transform my world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves aly: we have the power to imagine better. 201402/275259

If my Dad was alive today, the thing I think he would be most happy about is that Lucy and I have a baby in the hopper. I think he would been annoyed that I hadnt gotten my Ph. D yet (thanks, Michigan!). Dad was so full of insights, of excitement about new things, that to this day, I often wonder what he would think about some new development. If he were here today--well, it would be one of the best days of his life. Hed be like a kid in a candy store. For a day, hed be young again. Many of us are fortunate enough to be here with family. Some of us have dear friends and family to go home to. And who knows, perhaps some of you, like Lucy and I, are dreaming of future families of your own. Just like me, your families brought you here, and you brought them here. Please keep them close and remember: they are what really matters in life. Thanks, Mom; Thanks, Lucy. And thank you, all, very much. /201309/257584

Hi, everybody. Today, Im speaking to you from the road—a trip to Mexico and Costa Rica. Im here because Latin America represents an incredible opportunity for the ed States, especially when it comes to my top priority as President:我身处这个地方是因为拉丁美洲对美国而言意味着无限的机遇,尤其是当下我作为总统最高要务。creating good, middle-class jobs. On Friday, we learned that our businesses created another 176,000 jobs last month. Thats 2.2 million new jobs over the past year, and 6.8 million new jobs over the past 38 months. But as Ive said before,但就如我之前所说过的,I wont be satisfied until everyone who wants a job can find one. So Im going to keep doing everything I can and going everywhere I need to go to help our businesses create jobs. Now, one of the best ways to grow our economy is to sell more goods and services Made in America to the rest of the world. That includes our neighbors to the south. Right now, over 40 percent of our exports go to the Americas. And those exports are growing faster than our trade with the rest of the world. Thats why I visited Latin America this week,这就是本周我来到拉美地区的原因,to work with leaders to deepen our economic ties and expand trade between our nations. In Mexico, I also talked about immigration reform, because thats an important issue that affects both our countries. The truth is, right now, our border with Mexico is more secure than its been in years. Weve put more boots on that border than at any time in our history, and illegal crossings are down by nearly 80 percent from their peak in 2000. 80%。But weve got more to do—not just to secure the border but to fix an immigration system that is badly broken. In recent weeks, weve seen a commonsense immigration reform bill introduced in the Senate. This bill is a compromise, which means that nobody got everything they wanted—including me. But its largely consistent with the principles Ive laid out from the beginning. It would continue to strengthen security at our borders and hold employers more accountable if they knowingly hire undocumented workers. It would provide a pathway to earned citizenship for the 11 million individuals who are aly in this country illegally. And it would modernize our legal immigration system so that were able to reunite families,而且还将使合法移民体系更为现代化,让家庭团聚,and attract the highly-skilled entrepreneurs and engineers who will help create good paying jobs and grow our economy. These are all commonsense steps that the majority of Americans support. So theres no reason that immigration reform cant become a reality this year. In the meantime, Ill keep working with our neighbors on our common security and our common prosperity. Millions of Americans earn a living right now because of the trade between our nations. And after this week, Im as confident as ever that we can build on our shared heritage and values to open more markets for American businesses and create more jobs for American workers. Thanks and have a great weekend. 201305/239021

Now all of us must realize this is not a spectators sport, when I was just sitting here watching ;amazon.com;. Every institution and every entity must grab with this issue at the highest level as management. Samp;Base, Cacherdeck is one of the largest department stores in Europe. But they are making their first foreway into online sales. That is not an easy decision for an enterprise with huge investments and retail space, not to mention their economic model, their coop culture, rooted and traditional retail sales. Who made the decision for Cacherdeck to jump into online sales? I can assure you it was not their Web master. Increasingly, CEOs of companies, university presidents, government officials are stepping up to these issues. They are testing pilot sites, they are setting strategy, and they are answering questions like ;How will this network world affect my organization?; ;How are we threatened?; but more importantly, ;How can I leverage this new medium for competitive advantage?; The toughest, most jocular decisions that need to be made are which browser or which server their core management and policy issues. 201312/269932
